Questions people ask before they sign up
- Where do the emails come from?
- Only from the playlist’s own public description on Spotify. If a curator wrote “send submissions to…”, we find it. We never guess emails or buy lists.
- Is this allowed?
- We read public data through Spotify’s official Web API. Curators put their contact there because they want submissions. You’re still responsible for pitching politely and following anti-spam law where you live.
- Why is Agency cheaper per month than Pro?
- Most artists only need this for the month around a release — so Pro is month-to-month, and you cancel when you’re done. Agency is for people releasing all year: one payment, done.
- How do I cancel?
- Billing → Cancel plan. It takes two clicks and you keep access until the end of what you paid for. No email, no chat, no retention screen.
- How is this different from the Chrome extension?
- Same finder, but your leads sync to an account instead of one browser, searches run on our servers (faster, bigger), and you get export, analytics, and the outreach writer.
- Do I need a Spotify account?
- No. Searching uses PlaylistScout’s own access to the public API.
